The Southern Thornlands Priority Development Area (PDA) will provide for around 8,000 new dwellings, new opportunities for businesses and jobs, and deliver new community facilities and infrastructure to support the city. With an Early Release Area to fast track much needed housing supply, Economic Development Queensland is encouraging a variety of different and innovative housing options to meet the local community needs.
Beyond delivering homes, this integrated partnership-based growth approach for the region will deliver new open space, education opportunities, healthcare, transport options, utilities, and more - creating a vibrant community for Queenslanders to call home.
