We’ve released our updated Strategic Plan 2025–2029 which aligns with the refocusing of EDQ to assist industry to unlock housing and industrial opportunities at scale and pace across Queensland.
Our Vision for EDQ is A Queensland planned and built for growth and our purpose is to enable transformative development across the State with pace.
This means being focussed on three key priorities, housing pipeline, economic prosperity and unlocking housing supply

EDQ has unique planning and approval powers and a mandate to create private sector investment opportunities by de-risking and unlocking land for redevelopment. EDQ has planned and facilitated the delivery of some of the largest residential developments in Queensland, as well as some of the state’s most iconic urban renewal projects.
